APPLICATION FOR EXPORT OR IMPORT LICENSE DATED 1/26/79, XR0133, TWO POWER REACTORS
Purpose:
To inform the Comission of the receipt of a license application.
Discussion:
Enclosed for the information of the Comission are copies of an application for a license for which Comission action will ultimately be necessary.
Copies of the application have been placed in the Public Document Room.
Comissioners are requested to advise the staff of any particular issues or infomation which they can identify at this stage and which they wish included in the staff's analysis.

Utilization Facility Export License Application for KNU 7 & 8 We do hereby apply for a Nuclear Regulatory Comission export license covering the supply of two (2) Utilization Facilities which we refer to as two (2) Nuclear Steam Supply Systems consisting primarily of the following:
Nuclear Reactor Pressure Vessels and Reactor Internals Nuclear Reactor Coolant Pumps Nuclear Reactor Control Rods Steam Generators containing pressure tubes specially designed and prepared to contain primary coolant in a nuclear reactor Other components specially designed or prepared for use in a Utilization Facility The following is~ a list of pertinent data:

December 31, 2026 Note - This date will facilitate the exporting of warranty replacements and other equipment necessary for the smooth, safe and efficient operation of these Utilization Facilities.

Ultimate Consignee and Equipment End Use:
All equipment will be used in the co'nstruction and operation of two (2) three-loop pressurized water reactor system utilization facilities - KNU-7 and KNU-8 of Korea Electric Company.

KNU-7 and KNU-8 Note - These are Korean Electric Company's units 7 and 8.

Location of Utilization Facilities:
The location of KNU-7 and KNU-8 is on Gyaeme, on the southwest coast of Korea located approximately 34 miles northwest of Gwangju City, which is the capital of Chunnam Province.
The exact location is latitude of 35 -24.3 sec. north and longitude of 126 -24.6 sec. east.
- 13. Total value for all equipment to be exported against this export license will be approximately $ 200,000,000.00 (Two hundred million dollars).

Westinghouse Electric Corporation is not owned, controlled or dominated by an alien, a foreign corporation or any foreign government.
