On December 5,1978, the City of Austin received the First Set of Interrogatories and Requests for Documents from Department of Justice to the Cities of Austin and San Antonio. Counsel for the Department has agreed that the documents requested may be produced at the same time as and along with the responses to the interrogatories. The Cities of Austin and San Antonio have asked for an extension for completion of the requests until mid-January,1979.

Otherwise, the City of Austin has neither initiated nor received any discovery requests during December,1978.
