Dear Sir:
Please be advised that Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station will not completely meet the physical security requirements mandated by 10CFR73.55 prior to the February 23, 1979 compulsory date.
Attachad for your edification is a list of systems which will be functional on that date, systems which will not be completed by the required date, compensa-tory measures utilized in the interim, and the date when all systems will be operational in conformance with regulatory mandate.
Pursuant to Section 2.790(d) of 10CFR Part 2, we are withholding the information provided in Enclosur 1 of this letter from public inspection. Withholding from public inspection does uc? af fect the right, if any, of persons properl'f and directly concere.ed with the aroject to inapect the information.
