STAFF VISIT TO ALTERNATIVE SITES - ALLENS CREEK Dates:
February 5 - 9, 1979 Location:
Southeast Texas - HL&P Service Area
Purpose:
The staff intends to visit alternative site locations that are representative of the candidate areas described in the staff's Final Supplement to the Final Environmental Statement for Allens Creek Nuclear Generating Station Unit No.1.
Plans are to visit sites identified as Li-3, Je-3, Ma-3 and Au-2 in the HL&P Nuclear Power Plant Siting Study, the South Texas Project site, a coastal site on Follets Island, and the Allens Creek site.
All sites will be visited by helicopter, and public participation in this portion of the staff's activity is not possible.
A meeting wi ce held on Thursday, February 8,1979, beginnino o. i:00 pm at the Houston-Gulf Freeway Holiday Inn, 2391 South Wayside Drive, Houston, Texas, to review results of the site visits. This meeting s
will be open to the public.
