Gentlemen:
Our letter to you dated January 11, 1979, submitted a proposed revision to the Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO) Industrial Security Plan. Our Security Plan describes the security system and security measures used at ANO to provide protection of the plant against industrial sabotage. Presently, we expect to have a'l security equipment operable and procedures in effect on or before 10 CFR 73.55 compliance date of February 23, 1979.
Ilowever, we have recently become aware of the possibility of not having a piece of equipment installed and operabic by the compliance date. We have attached a description of the situation that could develop and our proposed contingency measures.
Please revicw the proposed contingency measures anc provide your concurrence with their acceptability no later than February 20, 1979.
