Regulatory Audit - Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant Units 1 and 2 - License Amendment Request to Revise Technical Specification for Use of Full Spectrum Loss-of-Coolant Accident Methodology (EPID L-2018-LLA-0730)
By letter dated April 23, 2019 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML19106A390), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff issued an audit plan for the subject task. The audit summary was scheduled to be issued by August 30, 2019. In July, the licensee informed the NRC staff that Westinghouse has identified an error in its Code and the licensee intends to provide a supplement before end of September 2019 to address the impact of the error. Hence, the NRC has decided to keep the audit open longer than expected. The NRC staff now intends to issue the audit summary 6-8 weeks from the date of the supplement.
