Item 2.C(18)(b) of the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant unit 1 operating license (DPR-77) requires TVA to submit an instrument trip setpoint methodology study. The following are enclosed in response to this requirement.

Also onolosed is one (1) oopy of Westinghouse Affidavit, CAW-80-48 (Non-Proprietary).
Since this submittal contains information proprietary to Westinghouse Electric Corporation, it is supported by an affidavit signed by Westinghouse, the owners of the information. The affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information may be withheld from public disclosure by the Commission and addresses with specificity the considerations listed in paragnaph (b)(4) of section 2 790 of the Commission's regulations.
Accordingly, it is requested that the information which is proprietary to Westinghouse be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR Scotion 2 790 of the Conmission's regulations. Correspondonoe with respect
