Dear Mr. Conner:
The NRC Staff has noted your letter of December 10, 1979, in which Mississippi Power & Light Company requests that the NRC ask the Department of Justice to reconsider its recommendation in the above matter, as set forth.in the Department's letter of November 21, 1979.
As your December 10th letter was addressed to the Department as well as to the NRC, we assume that the Department will notify the NRC should it desire to recon-sider the conclusion outlined in its November 21st letter. We are, at present, reviewing all materials submitted in the above matter, including your letter of December 10th and Mr. Robert C. McDiarmid's reply of January 11, 1980.
