On January 10, 1980, the lines supplying backup bearing water f rom the accumulator to the Loop 2 helium circulators were determined to be i= paired due to three i= paired hangers.

This is reportable per Fort St. Vrain Technical Specification AC 7.5.2(b)2 as a degraded mode o f LCO 4. 3.10.

EVENT

DESCRIPTION

On January 10, 1980, with the reactor shutdown for maintenance, hangers 11A-H-21235, llA-H-21236, and llA-H-21237 were deter =ined to be i= paired.

These hangers are on the liaes supplying backup bearing water to the helium circula tors. Although the backup bearing water lines are not safety re-laced, these hangers are included in the analysis of a safety related system; therefo re, the hangers being impaired constitutes an i= pair =ent of System 21.

CAUSE

DESCRIPTION:

The hangers were removed during previous work and were not re-installed.

CORRECTIVE ACTION:

The hangers were redesigned to fit current piping configuration and are being re-installed under Change Notice 1178.

No further corrective action is anticipated or required.
