Beishman, Chief Reactor Operations and Nuclear Support Branch DOW CHEMICAL U.S.A. - TRIGA PEACTOR DOCKET NO. 50-264 The inspection conducted by C. H. Brown on October 22-24, 1979 revealed that the procedural monthly checklist was not performed for the month of June,1979 as required as part of section I.7 of the Technical Speci-fications.
In response to this finding, a " reminder board" has been established to visibly remind the reactor staff and supervision of the times when periodic checklists are due.
Since all monthly checklists subsequent to June,1979 have been properly completed, we feel we are in full compliance at the present time, and we feel the reminder board will prevent similar non-compliance in the future.
