NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE WES VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY RESEARCH REACTOR DOCKET N0. 50-129 The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has considered the order authorizing dismantling of facility and dis-position of component parts for the West Virginia University (the licensee) AG'i-211P Reactor operated under Facility License No. R-58.
The order au-h rizes the licensee to disassemble the reactor which operated at oceer levels up to 75 watts (thermal), and to dispose cf the como ner.: ;ar s.
The U. 3..NJ: lear Re;ulatory Commission, Office of Nu: lear Reactor Regulation, nas prepared an environmental impact appraisal for th.s research reactor.
Cn the basis of this appraisal, we have concluded that an envircnmental impact statement for this particular action is not warranted because there will be no significant environmental impact attributable :: the croposed action. The environmental impact appraisal is available for cu:lic inspection at the Commission's Public Document Room at 1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, D. C.
