Gentlemen:
Reference (b) informed your Office of our commitment to design and install a third auxiliary feedvater train to satisfy the requirements of Reference (c). For your information, it is our intention to utilize the same codes for the piping and piping supports as were used for the original plant construction, that is, ANSI B 31.1, 1967 and ANSI 31.7, 1969, with 1970 addenda. We feel this design criterion is necessary to facilitate the design, construction and inservice inspection of the new system train.
