Dr. J.G. Keppler, Director U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Region lli 779 Roosevelt Road Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 10 December 1979

Dear Dr. Keppler:

Your letter of 27 Nov 1979 has been forwarded to me since I am the proposed holder of Roosevelt University's isotope license.

At the moment we hold only a storage IIcense for isotopes. This in part is due to the resignation of the former license holder and the fact that I have been here only since September.

I am obtaining the necessary survey equipment and other supplies to comply with the isotope license requirements.

In addition regulations for isotope use are being established as is a specific laboratory for isotopic work. However until this is completed no work with radioisotopes is occurring nor are any wastes being generated or shipped.

As soon as we reapply for a working isotope license I will contact you with the information requested in LE Bulletin No. 79-19.

Si cerel yours, onathan Green, Ph.D.
