PEOPLE AGAINST NUCLEAR ENERGY MOTION TO WITHDRAW PANE CONTENTION #3 After reassessing both its resources and its interests, People Against Nuclear Energy (PANE) has decided to pursue only its first two contentions as stated in its filing of October 5, 1979. Those contentions concern the psychological distress and the threat to community health that would result from the reopening of Three Mile Island Unit No. 1.

Accordingly, PANE moves that its third contention, which concerns the inadequacy of emergency planning, be withdrawn.

Respectfully submitted, Q,6 Vb " f William S. Jordan, III SHELDON, HARMON & WEISS 1725 "I" Street, N.W.
