Dear Sir:
The FitzPatrick Plant provided to your office in the reference above, a report of the results of the primary containment integrated leak rate test which was conducted during the 1978 refueling outage prior to the startup for operation in fuel cycle 3.
In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50, Appendix J, Paragraph III.D., the FitzPatrick Plant wishes to inform your office of our plans with respect to the Type A ritest schedule. 'Our current plans dictate that the next scheduled test will be performed prior to the start-up for fuel cycle 5 following refueling wMch is currently scheduled for 1981. This test will be the second of a set of 3 Type A tests which must be performed during each 10 year service period and will be approximately 7 years from the initital test conducted and approximately 3 years prior to the end of the first 10 year service period.
