Our Certificate of Compliance No. 6078 which authorizes delivery of the Models 927Al and 927C1 shipping containers to a carrier for transport expires on November 30, 1979.
We are presently in the process of preparing a consolidated renewal application.
The sixty-five drawings which were submitted in 1969 are being consolidated into 2 drawings which clearly show all safety-related features of the package. All j
other construction type details will be o?.itted as requested. Since a consoli-dated renewal application was not submitted in 1974, the consolidation of the many supplements since 1969 is taking more tire than expected.
To confirm my telephone conversation with Mr. D. Odegarrden of your staff on October 12, 1979, it is requested that Combustion Engineering, Inc., be granted a 90-day extension of Certificate No. 6073 to facilitate consolidation of the above material. We will make every effort to complete our renewal application so it will reach your office no later than December 21, 1979.
