Colorado Springs, Colorado License No. 05-16709-01 NOTICE OF VIOLATION Based upon the results of the NRC inspection conducted on September 18, 1979 at Clear, Alaska, certain activities under your license appear to be in noncompliance with NRC requirements as identified below:

1.

Contrary to 10 CFR 30.3, the possession of the 108 millicuries cesium-137 sealed source from June,1977 to April,1979 was not authorized by your license.

This is an infraction.

2.

Contrary to 10 CFR 20.407, personnel monitorin9 report for the calendar year 1978 was not submitted to the NRC.

This is a deficiency.
