OPERATIriG LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Commission) has issued Amendment No. 38 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-35, issued to Boston Edison Company '.the licensee), which revised the Technical 5:ecifications for operation of tne Pilgrim iluclear Power Station Unit

This amend ent changes the Technical Specifications to relax pump oper-ability recuirements in systems where spare pumps are instal'.ed in excess of system requirements.
The application for the amendment complies with :ne standar:s and recuire-nents of the At:mic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comis-sion's rules and regulations. The Commission has made aopropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which a e set forth in the license amencment.
Prior public notice of this amendment was not required.since the amendment coes not involve a significant hazaras considcration.
