((gs lQ ICENSEE EVENT REPORT SUBCOMMITTEE WASHINGTON, DC JULY 18-19, 1979 The ACRS Subcomittee on LERs held a meeting on July 18-19, 1979 in Room 1046 at 1717 H. Street, N. W., Washington, D. C.
The purpose of the meeting vas to continue the review of Licensee Event Reports and to prepare a draft report for the consideration of the full ACRS. The notice of the meeting was published in the Federal Register on Monday, July 2, 1979 (Attachment A).
A list of meeting attendees is included as Attachment B.
No written state-ments or requests for time to give oral statements were received from members of the public.
EXECUTIVE SESSION - OPEN Dr. Moeller, Subcomittee Chairman, opened the meeting at L:30 am and indicated that it was being conducted in accordance with the Fede'al Advisory Committee Act and the Government in the Sunshine Act. Dr. A. Sates was the designated Federal Employee for the meeting.
The entire two day meeting was conducted in open executive session. Discus-sions were limited to members of the Subcommittee, its consultants, and staff. The draft LER report was reviewed in detail with Subcomittee members and consultar.ts commenting on the proposed centent and wording. No new information for the report was developed; however, a number of sections of the report were edited and raritten to clarify topics and to reflect the consensus of the group. Changes to the draft report were incorporated and a final draft was prepared for consideration by the full ACRS at its August 6-8, 1979 meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 pm on Thursday, July 19, 1979 following Dr. Moeller's thanking of the consultants for their participation.
