We have evaluated Revision 1 to the Quality Assurance Program for Neutron Products, Inc. submitted with your October 30, 1979 letter to satisfy the requirements of 10 CFR 571.51.
The information presented does not adequately describe how Neutron Products' QA Program will satisfy the applicable requirements of Appendix E to 70 CFR Part 71.
I refer you to the acceptance criteria (ref. Mcdonald /Kreysa letter datei April 27,1979) the staff uses to evaluate a licensee's QA program for transportation packages for normal form radioactive material, Please revise your QA program description to address these criteria and submit seven copies of the revised program within 60 days following receipt of this letter.
