20555 Docket 71-6058 Report of Nonconformance with Design Specification
Dear Mr. MacDonald:
This letter supplements our previous report to you in our letter of May 7, 1979, advising that B-3 casks, Units 2 and 3, were not in compliance with the provisions of Certificate of compliance No. 6058.
A detailed inspection revealed that the thermal shield on the lid of B-3 cask, Unit 2, was missing.
The thermal shield has now been replaced bringing B-3 cask, Unit 2, into compliance with Certificate of Compliance No. 6058.
Unit 3 remains in an out-of-service status.
