Dear Sir:
Subjec t: Submittal of Fire Protection System Design Information Af ter staff review of Reference (c) above, it appeared that several further questions needed to be answered.
The information required to answer those questions is included in this letter.
1.
Drawings Copies of the drawings for the detection system modifications and the Protected Cable Vault Suppression System are attached here.
2.
System Specific details 31.1 - Fire Detection Systems 1.
The Fire Detection System Modifications are being designed and installed in accordance with appropriate NFPA codes.
3 1.2 - Hose Stations 1.
Several hose stations were inadvertently left out of the previous letter.
This letter confirms that existing hose stations have been fitted.ith additional hese lengths or new hose stations are being installed such that hose from an interior hose station will reach all the areas listed under Section 3.1.2, page 3-3 of the SER.

The door opening in the northeast corner of the Turbine Building has been blocked up, and meets the rating of the existing wall.
