Dear Mr. MacDonald:
This letter should summarize and clarify all corresponcence which has occurred in the last few months concerning the LL 50-100 (USA /6601/B ( }) cask drawings.
The drawing 1042-D-0001, Rev. B, relocated the cask lifting device ;o the as-built condition.
Drawing 1042-C-0002, Rev.
D, changed the location of the cover lifting device to the as-built condition.
The original SAR concerning the above (cover lifting device and cask lifting device) on Pages 1 through 7 of Project 568 of Appenaix A-4 has Fran reviewed thoroughly.
The changes made to both the above drawings to bring them to the as-built condition do not affect the structural strength of either the cask lifting device or the cover lifting device.
The structural strength of the cask or the integrity of the cask has not been compromised in the judgement of Chem-Nuclear Systems.
