Cancellation of Hearings and Scheduling of NRC Staff Recort 1.
Acting upon the oral motion by the NRC Staff of today's date in a teleconference among representatives of the parties (Applicants, NRC Staff, Skagit County) and the Board Chairman, the Board hereby cancels the hearings scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 25-27, 1979.

Counsel for the NRC Staff stated that representatives of SCANP and FOB /CFSP, who were unavailable for the teleconference, had no objec-tion to the proposed cancellation of these hearings.

Counsel for the NRC Staff will make a report to the parties and the Board by teleconference on Wednesday, October 31, 1979, beginning at 2:00 p.m. with respect to (1) implications of the new material on geology and seismology which the NRC Staff had just received last week from the United States Geological Survey and (2) implication of the new Commission policy on emergency planning.
