Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (TMI-1)
Docket No. 50-289 Operating License No. DPR-50 Technical Specification Change Request No. 58 Enclosed are thre.e signed originals (sixty conformed copies sent separately) of Technical Specification Change Request No. 58 requesting amendment to Appendix A of Operating License No. DPR-50.
Also enclosed is one signed copy of Certificate of Service for proposed Technical Specification Change Request No. 58 to the chief executives of the township and county in which the facility is located.
This change request is being submitted in response to your letter of March 16. 1977, requesting the inclusion of qualification requirements At the Audiation Protection Supervisor in the Administrative Controls Section of the TMI-1 Technical Specifications.
Note that these propcsed qualification requirements are g nimum requirements. It is our contention that the total su==ation of the separate requirements we have set forth for the Supervisor - Radiation Protection & Chemistry and the Radiation Protecticn Supervisor positions in our proposed Technical Specification neet the total college education and work experiene,e intended by the requirements of Regulatory Guide 1.8.
