focus a new area of concern, since the joint itself does not con-
form to the drawings and there is evidence that there is a lack

of bond at the construction joint due to laitance contained in

the joint.

There appears to be a policy of liberal interpretation of pro-

cedures as evidenced by the wholesale removal of rebar in Seg-
Q
ment III of the North 1800 segscnt. The QA/QC aspects were in-
spected during the week of May 29, 1972 and a determination rela-
tive to Med Ed management policies is in progress.
