Violation of the Environmental Technical Specification 2.2.1.a (Page 7) in that ther tatal residual chlorine at the plant river discharge exceeded 0.2 pga on 24 January 1975.

Analysis of total residual chlorfte in the plant river discherge 30.mirastas after the start of a chlorination :yele indicated 0.29 ppa. Analysis of total res,idual chloriae is plant river discharge 50 minutes after the start of a chlorination cycle indicatau $1!3 ppe.

To insure the total residual chlorine ca=na=ent is the plant river discharge remains below 0.2 ppn. the chlorinstion addition rata has been reduced frts 450#/ day to 200#/ day.
