1! ree Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit I Docket No. 50-289 Operating License No. DPR-50 Nonroutine 7-Day Environmental Report. 75-01 As a follow-up to our letter of May 23,1975 (GQL 1083) and in accordance with 5.6.2.b(3) of the Environmental Technical Spec,1fications for our Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1 (DiI-1), we are (submitting notification, of two measured levels of radioactivity identified in the environment' which exceeded ten times the control station value)for two monthly composites of weekly grab samples representing the period from April 5, through April 26, 1975.

We would like to point out that the level of radioactivity associated with these samples was less than 1/200th of the Maximum Permissible Concentration limit stated in 10CFR20 for members of the public, and that at no time was the health and safety of the public threatened by the radiological condition of the river as indicated by this sample.

We trust that this report satisfies the reporting requirements referenced above and adequately answers any concerns you may have.
