LICENSEE'S RESPONSE TO COMMUNICATION FROM BARBARA J.
HEIVLY On August 17, 1979, Barbara J.
Helvly wrote to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission requesting "to participate in the federal hearings regarding the reopening of TMI Unit 1."
Ms.
Heivly, on behalf of herself and as a representative of People Against Nuclear Energy
(" PANE"), desires "to express some of my group's concerns as well as some of the psychological effects on my family and neighbors.
Metropolitan Edison Company
(" Licensee") understands Ms. Heivly's letter to be a request to make a limited appearance pursuant to 10 C.F.R.
S 2.715 (a) and not to be a petition to intervene pursuant to 10 C.F.R.
S 2. 714 (a).
The Licensee does not object to Ms. Heivly making a limited appearance by oral or written statement with respect to matters germane to the proceeding.
