REPORT OF TUGCO, ET AL.,

- SEPTEMBER, 1979 Pursuant to the direction of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board during the Special Prehearing Conference on June 21, 1978 Tr. 124-125) in South Texas, and during the conferences in Comanche Peak and South Texas on December 5, 1978 (Tr. 79-90),

TUGCO submits this report on discovery during the month of September, 1979.

During the month of September, TUGCO's principal activity was participation in the depositions of Messrs. Simmons, Evans, Sykora, McReynolds, Meyer, Duchanan, Nichols, Wilson, Spruce, Mecke, Payett, nold, Dreiss, Poston, Williams and Standish.

Some previously scheduled depositions were post-poned pursuant to agreement.

At the end of the month, TUGCO had nearly completed arrangements to produce documents requested by NRC for use in preparation for the future deposition of one of TUGCO's 1160 202 7910170 6 3

Due to the unavailability of the individual, production could not be completed during September, but the materials in question will be made available well in advance of the deposition.

Also at the end of the month, the file search for additional documents requested by CSW, et al., was nearly complete and arrangements for production have been agreed on for the week of October 14th in Dallas.
