Gentlemen:
The following information supplements our response of May 10, 1979.
Contrary to our response May 10, 1979,we have identified nine (9) locations in ANO-2 where we have GE type AK-2A-25-1 circuit breakers installed. All of the subject circuit breakers are installed in the Reactor Trip Circuit Breaker Switchgear.
An ANO-2 In-Service Inspection Procedure is currently being written, which will incorporate the recommended correct ive actions as described in GE Service Advice f.etter No. 173 (CPDD) 9.3. This inspection will be performed every refueling outage by experienced Plant Maintenance E1cetricians.
In addition to the In-Service Inspection, conducted every refueling outage, the subject breakers are tripped and reset once a month as required by Technical Specification 4.3.1.1.1. to ensure their proper operation.
