On June 6,1979, Section 9 of Materials and Plant Protection Amendmant MPP-1 to your License 5IM-23 was amended to incorporate your Safeguards Contingency Plan.

The amendment was issued in response to your September 13, 1978 request, and an amendment fee of $8,300 was paid for our review and approval of the plan.

In accordance with Footnotes 1(d) and 4 of the enclosed 10 CFR 170, we have reviewed the manpower expenditures required for the review of the subject application for amendment, and the actual review fee is $3,230. We have notified our Office of the Controller to refund

$5,070 to you.
