REQUEST FOR TECH!11 CAL ASSISTAfiCE (DOCKET NO. 70 g i The services of D. P. Notley are requested for the fire safety review of "the enclosed license application from Exxon Nuclear Company for the Experimental Test Facility (ETF), a laboratory scale laser isotope enrichment operation.

The following is the current schedule for this review. We would appreciate it if every effort is made to meet these ates.

If the license applicaticn is acceptable, we plan to issue a license that would authorize construction of the laboratory, but would not authorize operation until a site visit is made to review the completed laboratory. If you should have any questions in the interim, please contact R. Stevenson (x74103) of my staff or me (x74240).
