Dear Mr. Gossick:

Enclosed is a copy of our environmental analysis report (EAR) on the Skagit Nuclear Power Project. This report is to supplement your final environmental impact statement issued in May 1975 and provides additional infer nation on the potential effects of the proposed facility upon those characteristics for which the Skagit River was named a study river in the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. As you will recall, it is not intended that this report stand on its own but rather should be used as part of your analysis in -

conjunction with your final environmental impact statement.

In order to expedite the processing of your supplement, we earlier furnished your staff a copy of this report prier to approval. The attached approved copy is a final document and is unchanged from that previcusly furnished your staff.

We have previously agreed that the draft supplement to the final environmental statement will be sent to those on the EAR mailing list which did not receive copies of the final environmental statement. A copy of that list is attached.

We look forward to working further with you en this project.

Sincerely, a.wba 2282 290 JOHN R. McGUIRE Chief Enclosures ech 2-hon b c t l Ts06150F s'
