Grand Gulf Nuclear Station File 0260/15525/15526 Interim Report No. 2 for PRD No. 79/06 As Defined In 10 CFR 50.55(e)

AECM-79/52 On March 2, 1979, Mississippi Power & Light Company notified Mr. J. K. Rausch of your office of a potential reportable deficiency at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station construction site concerning the failure of a switch assembly installed in the 4.16 KV switchgear. We had ant,icipated that by May 30, 1979, sufficient data would be availa-ble for us to determine reportability as defined by 10CFR 50.55(e).

However, due to additional analyses required, we wish to extend our date for determining reportability until July 13, 1979.
