Dear Mr. Crier:
This letter is forwarded to provide prm:pt notification of Reportable Occurrence R0-78-20/1P as required by the Millstone Unit 1 Technical Specifications.
On October 10,1978, at 0920 hours0.0106 days <br />0.256 hours <br />0.00152 weeks <br />3.5006e-4 months <br />, during normal plant operation, it was discovered that the unused chloride capacity of one of the full flow on Ifne dmineralizers was less than the 30 pound minimun prescribed in Technical Specification 3.6.J.T.
Unit power was irrxadiately reduced and the dmineralizer was rtcoved from service. Results of the investigation into the incident and further anaTysis will be incTuded in the follow up 14 day report.
