a license to export natural uranium to Bt!FL, United Kingdom, for conversion to UF6 and subsequent return to the U.S. for enrichnent.
You will note from Edicw's letter that this material was authorized for shipment under license number SUB-7952 which was allowed to expire in March. As delays are now occurring in shipments due to this oversight, Edlow has requested expeditious handling of its application.
Sefere taking action on this license application, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with established procedures and from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the issuance of the requested license would be inimical to the interests of the United States, including the co ron defense and security, and whether the proposed export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act as amended i
