Dear Mr. Trauger:
Thank you for your letter of January 19, 1979 informing me that NCPA is not willing to permit an outside contractor to reproduce discovery documents seier.ted by the NRC Staff but is willing to provide copies to the Staff at a chcrge equal to NCPA's costs, not to exceed ten cents per page (except for oversize documents).
I have asked that a contract between the NRC and NCPA be prepared for submission to NCPA which will provide nayment to NCPA for documents produced to the Staff at a rate of six cents per page (except for oversize documents).
The six cent per page rate is the same as that to which Staff and PG&E agreed and to which the Staff and DWR agreed for their production of documents to Staff.
I understand from our telephone conversation on Friday that this rate is acceptable to NCPA. A contract for flCPA's execution will be sent as soon as it is available.
Thank you very mur5.
Very truly your,
