We received your letter of December 21, 1978, which transmitted your safeguards contingency plan in acccrdance with Appendix C of 10 CFR 73, The licensing review for amendment of Lic~ense Sf'?t-778 is subject to a major safeguards amendment fee of $6900 as specified in fee Category 1B of Section 170.31 of Part 170, copy cnclosed.
Payment should be made to the U. S. f'uclear Regulatory Commission and nailed to my attention. When submitting the fee, plesse refer to C0f! TROL MU'IBER 11547.
Please note Footnotes 1(d) and 4 of Section 170.31, which provide that upon conpletion of the licensing review, the Commission will review its expenditures for professional manpower and appropriate support services; recompute the amendment fee, and, if necessary, refund any overchorges.
