A copy of Industrial Laboratories, Inc. Standard Operating Procedures and this procedure (QC-002) shall always be at hand for quick reference if needed during receipt, inspection, or shipment of radioisotopes.

In the event of an accident during source change, or radiation levels too high during receipt, inspection or shipping survey. the o
radiographer in charge shall implement the emergency procedures

as outlined in Industrial Laboratories, Inc. Standard Operating Procedures.

Shipments will not be made unless all tests, certifications, acceptances, and final inspections have been completed.
7.
Records A.
Records of Isotope procurement, receipt inspection, and i
disposal shipping will be maintained.
B.
The records will be identifiable and retrievable. A list of these records, with the storage locations, will be maintained by the Radiation Safety Officer.
8.
Audits A.
Established schedi:le of audits of this Quality Assurance program will be performed using written check lists. Results of audits will be maintained and reported to management. Audit reports will be evaluated and deficient areas corrected. The audits will be dependent on the safety signaficance of the area being audited, but each area will be audited at lease once per year.
B.
Audit reports will be maintained as part of the quality assurance records. Members of the audit team shall have no responsibility in the activity being audited.
