I enclose for your information, copies of letters sent by the Friends of the Earth, Congressmen Ronald Dellums and John Burton, and other California residents, requesting that the Commission suspend all activities under License No. SIM-960 at the General Electric Company's Vallecitos Nuclear Center and order removal of all plutonium from the Vallecitos site. Before plutonium is returned to or activities resumed at the site, the petitioners request the holding of public hearings concerning seismic condi-tions at the site.

This request is being treated under 10 CFR 2.206 of the Commission's regulations.

I enclose, also for your information, a copy of the notice to be filed for publication with the Office of the Federal Register.
