DELAY I: FISPC:!CE Censuners Pcuer Cenpany was requested by ?!EC letter dated :!oventer 29, 1979, to provide estinates of the time which veuld be required to evacuate residents from areas around our Big Rock Point and Palisades Plants in the event of an accident. Censumers Power Cenpany was requested to provide this informaticn by January 31, 1980.
Consumers Power Conpany has engaged a consultant and work is continuing to develop the information reauested in tha !!oventer 29, 1979, letter. He diffi-culties hvolved in naking the eatinates recuected have precluded acccmpliching this work in accordance with the reauest cchedule. Please te advised that the infor.ation requested by the !!ovember 29, 1979, letter fcr Palisadec and Pic Pock Point will be cubnitted by February 29, 1980.
