50-445A and 50-446A Conference Call of January 25, 1980 with Chairman Miller
Dear Mr. Green:
This will confira Staff's position that docurrent request flo. 3(f) of Staff's Third Set of Interrogatories to HL&P requires the production of any documents relating to HL&P's purchase or leasing of licnite from Dow Chemical Co.
In addition Staff believes that Reauest flo. 3(d) of Staff's Third Set, and Interrogatory No. 8(b) and (d) of Staff's Initial Interrogatories and Requests for Production of Documents to HL&P require production of documents relating to HL&P's consideration and/or negotiations for additions of generating capacity.
I trust that this will clarify Staff's position on the issues discussed in today's conference call. We are, of course, amenable to the entry of an appropriate protective order relating to proprietary information which might be responsive to Staff's requests.
Your expeditious production of these documents would be appreciated.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Yours truly, 0 *'b['
