Consumers Power Company has decided that the results of the qualitative evalu-ation referred to in response to Iten h (of the January 16, 1980 response) should be confirmed by quantitative analysis.

Hence, thermal and stress analyses of the effects of pool boiling on the rack, liner and concrete structure are in process and they are expected to be completed by the end of February.

Results of these analyses will be forwarded to you.
