Dear Mr. Eisenhut:
In a November 9, 1979 letter you identified meetings between your staff and repre-sentatives of the NSSS vendors mad fuel suppliers.
Discussions pertained to their emergency core cooling system (ECCS) evaluation models dealing with fuel cladding swelling and the incidence of fuel rupture used in the evaluation of Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 (DB-1).
In your letter of November 2 7, 1979 you provided us with follow-up infomation supplied to you by our NSSS vendor and fuel supplier.
Toledo Edison, in conj unction with Babcock and Wilcox (B&W), has reviewed the infomation submitted to you and your staff on this subject in. transmittals f rom Mr. J. H. Taylor of B&W dated the 2nd, 9th, and 20th of November, 1979.
These are confirmed to have been submittals made on our behalf and in our review acceptably resolve your concern.
No further activity is planned to pursue this area for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1.
