Dear Mr. MacDonald:
In accordance with the provision of 10 CFR 2.109, Revision 10 of Certi-ficate of Compliance No. 6581 was issued to extend the expiration date until January 31, 1980 pending completion of your review of our consoli-dated license renewal application submitted on June 15, 1979.
Subse-quent to that extension, questions were received relative to that submit-tal (Reference 3) and a response to those questions was provided on November 30, 1979 (Reference 4).
At this time, it is requested that the expiration date of Certificate of Compliance 6581 be extended for an additional period of six (6) months pending completion of the licensing review and renewal process.
It is requested that the six (6) month extension of Certificate of Compliance No. 6581 be issued by December 21, 1979 to permit a similar extension and subsequent re-validatic. of an IAEA Certificate of tempetent Authority prior to the expiration date of January 31, 1980.
A check in the amount of $150 to cover the administrative license renewal fee specified in 10 CFR 470.31(ll) (c) is enclosed.
