REQUEST FOR WITHHOLDING INFORMATION FROM PUBLIC DISCLOSURE (Radioactive Waste Volume Reduction System Topical Report AECC-2-P)

By your letter of October 24, 1979 you submitted for review the Aerojet proprietary topical report AECC-2-P Radioactive Waste Volume Reduction System, dated October 15, 1979. With your letter you enclosed an application for withholding under 10 CFR 2.790(b).

Your application is incomplete, he,vever, in that you have not fulfilled all the require-ments of Section 2.790(b). We cannot make the findings required of us unless the affidavit required by Section 2.790(b)(1) has been submitted.

Enclosed is a copy of Section 2.790(b)(1) with the discussion about the affidavit marked in red. When we receive a properly executed affidavit we will be able to proceed with our determination.

~ %@gg (b) (1) A person who propotes that a document or a part be withheld in whole or part from public disclosure on the ground that it contains trade secrets or privileged or confidential commercial or financial information shall submit an applicatJon for withholding secom-panted by_an a15dahicin (19 Identifies the document or part sought to be withheld and the position of the person making the amdavit, and (til Contains a full statement of the reassns on the be.sts of which it is claimed that the information should be withheld from public disclosure.
