( D /2 1 4 r e Federal Register Notice NUCLEAR RH3UEATORY CCMMISSICN AENISORY CCRMITTEE ON REACTOR SAFH3UARDS AD HOC SUSCCMMITTEE ON THE THREE MILE ISIRC, UNIT 2 ACCIDENT LMPLICATIONS RE NUCLEAR POWER PUM DESIGN Notice of Meeting The November 7,1979 meeting of the ACRS Ad Hoc Subcommittee on the Three Mile Island, Unit 2 Accident - Implications Re Nuclear Power Plant Design has been rescheduled to be held on November 5,1979 in Room 1046, 1717 H St., NW, Washington, DC 20555. Notice of this meeting was published October 18, 1979.
In accordance with the procedures outlined in the Federal Register on Octobe r 1,1979, (44 m 56408), oral or written statements may be presented by e t ers of the public, recordings will be permitted only during those portions of the meeting when a transcript is being kept, and questions may be asked only by members of the Subcommittee, its consultants, and Staff.
Persons desiring to make oral statements should notify the Designated Federal Employee as far in advance as practicable so that appropriate arrangements can be made *w allow de necessary time during the meeting for such statements.

The Subec=mittee may meet in Executive Session, with any of its consultants who may be present, to explore and exchange their prelimi-nary opinions regarding matters which should be considered during the meeting and to formulate a re;nrt and recommendation *w the full Com-

. At the conclusion of the Executive Session, the Subccrnittee will hear presentations by and hold discussions with representatives of the 2C Staff, the nuclear industry, various utilities, and their consultants, and other interested persons, regarding the implication of the 'IMI-2 Accident.
i In addition, it may be necessary for the Subcommittee to hold one or r:ere closed sessions for the purpose of exploring : ratters involving pro-prietary infor ation. I have determined, in accordance with Subsection 10(d) of P111 Law 92-463, that, should such sessions be required, it is necessary to close these ressions to protect proprietary infocation (5 U.S.';. 552b(c) (4)).
Further infor ation regarding topics to be discussed, whether the m-eeting has been cancelled or rescheduled, the Chai=an's ruling en requests for the opgertunity to present oral statements and the time allotted therefor can be obtained by a prepaid telephone call to the cognizant Designated Federal Employee, Mr. Richard K. Major (talephone 202/634-1414) between 8:15 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., ECT before, and EST after, October 28, 1979.
