FY 1980 ACCOMPl.ISHMENT, TPSB A notice of proposed rule making was published in the Federal Register on November 30,1979 (44 FR 68853) concerned with 10 CFR Part 32, allo sing 45 days for public comment.
The notico proposes to amend 5532.20(b)(10) and 32.29(b) to provide new requirements for labeling the external surfaces of not only gas and aerosol detectors including smoke detectors, but also the point-of-sale packaging of these detectors if packaged individually.
No environmental impact statement, negative declaration, or environmental impact appraisal was prepared in connection with this action. A value/
impact statement dated Noventer 1979 on the proposed rule changes has been placed in the Comission's Public Document Room.
