Dear Mr. MacDonald,
I We have examined our UtiC Model # 2600 shipping container to i
establish differences between the as built and description (s)/
design drawing E-20354 Sheets 1-5 of Jan.1957.
In result, we have clarified some details and incorporated any difference-by a Rev. 3 set of drawings which are enclosed for the certificate # 5086 package.
Your attention is called to the following di'ferences:
- 1) The original drawing cf the drum exterior did not accurately depict the tested and as built drum.
- 2) The as built container, as cer drawing, was designed to accommodate a second size box via angle iron structuring within the cage olate apertures.
This box,(as s/a # 6), has been deleted and is not used.
- 3) Outer container closure de ails and soecifications have been added to the Rev. 3 drawing.

Stop bar fastening bolts are shown as either 1/2" diam, with nut and washer cr 5/8" cian. with lock washer and tapped through cage plate construction.

The bandi,'q of blocks to the outside of the container for lif ting and handling urpose has been provided fo r.
- 6) The original (web) " strap assembly # 337A2" has been revised to a specified " banding strao".

The use of other than " oak" blocks and the original specified box " hinge" has been provided for.
